Redimete Diem!

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,
making the most of the time, because the days are evil. (Eph. 5:15-16, ESV)

Devoted wife    road-racer    washer of milkers    sneaky devilish giggle    competent businesswoman    speaker of wisdom    hearty laughter at my jokes    guardian of the home front    bestest aunt

Winter weather kept me from attending my dear aunt's funeral - a regret I carry with me to this day.

I remember how much your dad loved mom's homemade whipped cream. He commented once that he would "eat Alice Anna's whipped cream on anything." So, on one visit to the farm, at our Sunday meal, he was served a huge dill pickle topped with her delicious whipped cream while everyone else was enjoying her chocolate gooey cake with whipped cream! Well, Uncle Merritt sat there and ate that dill pickle with whipped cream even though mom wanted to replace it with her gooey! It was hilarious!!
